Join us in the City of Providence, as we commemorate Liberia's Independence! Choose what you would like to attend! Some events listed require getting a ticket here.
Field Day #1 July 25th starts at 11:00am, field open until 7:00pm at PCTA field, 41 Fricker St. In collaboration with the Liberian Association of Rhode Island. $5 at the gate, free for kids under age 15.
Field Day #2 July 26th starts at 11:00am, field open until 7:00pm at PCTA field, 41 Fricker St. In collaboration with the Liberian American Association of Rhode Island. FREE entry for everyone.
Liberian Independence March to Providence City Hall July 25th 4:00pm gather, the march starts at 5:00pm at PCTA field, 41 Fricker St, next to Urban Greens Market. The march will last 30 minutes until 5:30pm, arriving at Providence City Hall. To participate register here or just show up starting at 4pm. Everyone is welcome! Feel free to remain at Field Day #1 if you would like too.
Flag Raising July 25th 5:30pm-7:30pm at Providence City Hall, 3rd floor, 25 Dorrance St. FREE to attend but you must reserve your seat here for a ticket to enter the chambers. Light bites of Liberian food will be served by Grand Lior Catering. Vending, shop Geri's Bluffing Boutique.
